01
Massif
A meeting point of floristic influences
Falakro’s northeastern position and varied relief make careful locality records especially useful. Exposed ridges and sheltered cliff bases can support visibly different communities.
02
Scale
Search from landscape to crevice
Begin with the distribution of grassland, rock and lingering moisture, then work down to individual ledges and cushions. This prevents conspicuous flowers from dominating the survey.
03
Record
Keep a complete photographic set
For each uncertain plant, capture habit, basal leaves, stem leaves, flower and fruit when present. One clear contextual image is as valuable as several close-ups.
